April 3 - International Mug A Nun Day

On this day in 1981, Mother Teresa said at a press conference "I think it is very beautiful for the poor to accept their lot, to share with the passion of Christ. I think the world is being much helped by the suffering of the poor people." In the same spirit, this day has been dedicated to mugging every nun we could find, in the hope that they would accept their lot, share it with the passion of Christ and thereby help the world greatly with their suffering.

I can't help but think that "Mug a Nun" sounds like a euphemism for something teenage boys do they hope no one finds out about.

I could never mug a nun. They are too precious. Hey, Hyperion, why are the Name and Website fields pre-populated with a bunch of code? Just asking. You have the coolest real life name I know of by the way.

I didn't mug a nun, but I seriously thought about it - Sister Jean Marie from St. Ursuline's deserves a good mugging. Does that count as celebrating?

I was educated by nuns so the thought of mugging one I didn't like filled me with joy!

Chicky, I was educated by a bunch of sibling bums. The thought of mugging them never appealed to me. I was a sneaky little boy though.

I didn't mug a nun but I gave a priest a good frowning. Does that count?
