Remember Officer Friendly? The cop who would come to your school and patiently answer all kinds of questions about copping and bad guys and whether they shot anyone or wrecked a car? I do, most fondly.I don't think cops get enough love. So today, show your appreciation for their service in this fine and noble profession. Run up and give a cop a great big snuggly hug, preferably without warning.
They love surprises.
Disclaimer: Seriously, I love the police - a friendly wave would probably do in most cases. Or an envelope full of cash.
